Blowing Rocks Preserve in Hobe Sound, FL
Blowing Rocks Preserve
Blowing Rocks Preserve is located at 574 South Beach Road, Hobe Sound, FL  33455 which is located on Jupiter Island.  The area is 73 acres of shoreline with rocky anastasia limestone.

Nadia and I had never been here before and were not used to seeing such rock formations on our South Florida Shoreline.  The rocks are sharp and you never know when a strong wave is going to crash, so hold onto your kids tight. (don't let them climb on the rocks)

It is best to arrive at the Blowing Rock Preserves at high tide.  It was a beautiful sight.

Admission is $2 per person.  You can go snorkeling, swimming and scuba diving from the beach, but the water looked to rough for us to go in.

We enjoyed just walking around and admiring the view.  It was a very peaceful place.

There are three small hiking trails.

The Preserves were a nice place to look for shells as well.

I enjoyed watching the little birds playing on the shore.

Guided beach walks are offered on Sundays.  Check the schedule here for activities.

We made this into a day trip.  After we were done, we headed over to the Jupiter Lighthouse which was only 10 minutes away.
