Summer Fun at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
In May we took a little getaway for 3 days to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World.  We took advantage of the Florida Resident Discount on the Resort and Tickets.
Even though one of my favorite places to stay at the Walt Disney World Resort is Fort Wilderness, the Caribbean Beach Resort was more affordable for us at this time.  The resort was also a perfect little summer get away.

The whole resort is Island themed.  We stayed in the Aruba section and it was very nice.  We did have to walk a ways to the pool and to eat, but it was an enjoyable walk.
On our way to the pool
We had to walk across a bridge to an island called Caribbean Cay.  There you will find the playground.
You continue to walk through the island and you end up at the pool and dining area.  They have a campfire program and outdoor movies at night.
The pool was cool.  Nadia just kept riding the water slide every night.

They also had a kiddie water play area and pool for the little ones.  It looked fun.

Disney has a new thing now called magic bands.  They were the best thing.  They are water proof.  It was your room key, your payment throughout the  parks (if you hook your credit card up to it).  It was also what you used to get into the parks instead of a ticket and fast pass.  We loved them and they were so convenient.

Disney also has an app too, but I found it hard to use for the fast pass it was easier to go to a fast pass kiosk in the park.
