Enjoyed the Sightseeing Cruise on the New River and Intracoastal Water Way in Ft. Lauderdale, FL

During one of our “staycations”, Nadia and I took a sightseeing cruise on the Intracoastal and New River.
We arrived for the 11:00 a.m. cruise.  The scheduled Yacht that was to take us out that day was having mechanical problems; so we all had to walk a little ways and we got to board another Yacht.  As soon as we got on board, we were served complimentary cakes and snacks, for the inconvenience.  There were places to sit inside the yacht, which had air conditioning; or you could choose to sit outside and the let the breeze blow through your hair.  The outside was also covered, so you could sit or stand in the shade.  They also served drinks at the bar and fruit juice for the kids.

It was time for the Cruise to start.  We opted to sit outside.  The Yacht headed down the New River and out into the Intracoastal.  What a lovely view.  The mansions were just amazing.  What a nice day to dream.  Each one was more beautiful than the next. So many infinity pools; I would like to have one of those someday. After we passed under the 17th Street Causeway Bridge, we were in Port Everglades.  We looked at a couple of cruise ships that were docked and getting ready to head out to sea.
