We LOVE Mount Everest at Animal Kingdom

Roller Coaster Ride Mount Everest at Animal Kingdom
Mount Everest
We spent the first part of the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios and then caught the Disney Bus to Animal Kingdom to spend the second half of the day.  This time Nadia and I were not selected to go through metal detectors.

Nadia was so excited to ride Mount Everest which is a roller coaster ride.  It was closed the last time we had visited.  I have to admit, Mount Everest was a lot of fun.  We rode it twice in a row!

After I was able to pull Nadia away, we went and ate lunch.  She was starting to get a headache because she needed to eat and stay hydrated.

We walked around for a bit and looked at the many animals.

I liked watching this little monkey play
The reason I wanted to visit Animal Kingdom later in the day, was because I wanted to see the new Tree of Life Nighttime Awakenings.  It looked so pretty from what I saw on-line.   The below, is a video from Disney Parks.

We still had some time to kill before the show started, so we decided to ride the Kilimanjaro Safari.  This ride is very enjoyable with great animal viewing.

After we were done riding the ride, we walked on some trails to see some more animals.  Unfortunately Nadia's head was still hurting and we were actually very exhausted.  We are talking feet on fire exhausted.  So we could not make it until that Tree of Life show started. 😭😭😭😭

There is always next time.

Disney's Animal Kingdom has a lot to see.  There is just not animals to view, but different types of rides and shows to experience too.  Here is a link to their website so you can read more about what there is to see.
